Currently studying watercolor at Arizona State University, I reflect on a recent color theory and composition course last spring. Throughout my life I’ve found inspiration in the intricate details of nature, harmonious repetitions and naturally occurring patterns. To deepen my connection with art and my heritage, I am actively pursuing a research study focused on Chicano art, cultural history, and the rich heritage of Phoenix.
