About

I’m a 22-year-old studio artist based in Phoenix, Arizona, working primarily in acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media including colored pencil, charcoal, and ink. My work often centers around animals and natural forms, with a growing focus on texture, pattern, and intentional composition. I’m particularly drawn to structures like the Fibonacci sequence and visual repetition, which guide the rhythm and balance of many of my pieces.

Currently, I’m continuing my studies in watercolor while building on a foundation in color theory. I find inspiration in the intricate details of nature, quiet everyday moments, and the emotional resonance of memory and place. I’m also engaged in an ongoing research study exploring Chicano art and cultural history, particularly in relation to Phoenix, which broadens my perspective and deepens my appreciation for the visual stories embedded in community and heritage.

Each work is an exploration of form, feeling, and the interplay between technical control and organic expression. Whether it’s a candid moment with my dog, a flower discovered while traveling, or a layered abstraction, I strive to create art that invites reflection and connection.
